July/August 2002 edition of Books and Culture. Clayton Cramer (who has been instrumental in bringing down Michael Bellesiles) has a
review of Joyce Malcolm's new book Guns and Violence. And John McWhorter (one of my favorite public intellectuals) has a
review of Ray Jackendoff's Foundations of Language, which "criticizes the 'syntactocentrism' of Chomskyan work."
