Feed

For those who know what this is about (I just barely understand it myself), I replaced my site feeds with a Feedburner link, thanks to a reader who notified me that the RSS feed wasn't working. Anyway, if you use a newsreader, that Feedburner link to the left should take the place of both RSS and Atom, if I understand Feedburner's promotional webpages correctly.

  1. Blogger generates an Atom feed for you automatically (yours is at http://stuartbuck.blogspot.com/atom.xml). Feedburner will also generate an Atom feed if you wish. From what I understand, if you have certain options selected in your Feedburner feed, it will check whatever reader is accessing the feed and generate RSS or Atom format as appropriate.

I have been using your Atom feed for quite some time now, and it works perfectly for me. My preference is to continue using it unless it stops working. Is there some reason I shouldn't use it?

  3. No, I think it still works perfectly fine. The "Feedburner" link translates into both RSS and Atom. (I don't know what that sentence means, but that's what their website says.)
