Leukemia

This is weird: Common infections blamed for childhood leukaemia.

Well, not so weird — as the article mentions, feline leukemia has long been known to be viral. It's the "common" part of "common childhood infections" that's puzzling: what mechanism determines who actually gets cancer and who doesn't?

By the way, thanks, Blogger, for making it possible to post non-anonymously without opening a Blogger account! That was pretty annoying.
