Coyote has made some good points, but his workers and their situations are somewhat different than many other low-paying employers. His employees are willing to accept minimum wage because they also get something of additional value - a free place to park their rolling homes. And older workers, like very young workers, are a special group who do not mind working less and getting something less.
Coyote apparently does not employ many mid-30s types trying to raise a family on a working wage.
